About George
George (they/them) is a Gestalt psychotherapist working in private practice, providing therapy to individuals, couples and relationships.
George's work is rooted in relational ecology and embodied awareness, drawing on their experience as a meditation practitioner. George brings an attuned, present, and grounded approach to therapy, supporting clients to explore their experiences with curiosity and care.
George's practice is built on inclusivity, offering a warm, welcoming, and compassionate space for everyone, including LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent people, and those in monogamous and non-monogamous relationships.
George is particularly interested in working with relationship issues, life transitions, meaning and purpose, grief and loss, perimenopause, identity, self-expression, self-esteem, sex positivity, and anxiety and depression, among other areas.
George values the therapeutic relationship as a space for genuine connection and meaningful change, and is committed to supporting clients as they navigate life's challenges with greater self-awareness and resilience.
George’s work with couples is based on relational Gestalt therapy, alongside additional training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT).
