Noel is a psychologist, Gestalt psychotherapist, and certified Somatic Experiencing practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience in counselling, psychotherapy, and mental health services. He works in private practice with individuals and couples and provides supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and organisations. A faculty member at Gestalt Therapy Australia, Noel is also involved in professional training in trauma-informed and embodied approaches. His work integrates Gestalt psychotherapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and relational practice. Drawing on extensive experience across youth justice, family counselling, alcohol and other drugs, sexual assault, gambling, and mental health services, he has particular interests in trauma, addiction, shame, attachment, identity, and self-esteem, and is passionate about supporting growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding.
